Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and knowledgeable Soccer Coach to join our coaching staff. The ideal candidate will be committed to player development, able to foster a positive team culture, and capable of delivering engaging, age-appropriate training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead structured training sessions aligned with club philosophy
- Coach teams during games, tournaments, and league play
- Support player development both technically and tactically
- Manage team roster, including player assignments and updates
- Update and manage TeamSnap for scheduling, communication, and roster tracking
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club leadership
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive growth and learning environment
- Assist with player evaluations and development tracking
- Attend staff meetings and coaching education sessions as required. Must have flexibility outside of normal coaching hours.
Qualifications
- Prior coaching experience (youth or higher level preferred)
- Strong understanding of soccer fundamentals and player development principles
- Familiarity with the use of video technology and game analysis tools
- Ability to connect with and motivate players of varying ages and skill levels
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- US Soccer coaching license (USSF D or higher preferred)
- Background check required
