Job Description:
Thunder Soccer Club is looking for a passionate, patient, and energetic Youth Soccer Coach to work with players ages 3 to 5 years old.
We are seeking a coach with experience as a soccer player and/or coach who can create a fun, safe, and positive learning environment for young players. Experience working with early ages is preferred, but we also welcome candidates with experience coaching soccer teams who are excited to work with this age group.
The ideal candidate brings strong soccer knowledge, a positive attitude, and the ability to help young children build confidence, coordination, and love for the game.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and organize soccer sessions for children ages 3–5
- Teach basic soccer skills, movement, coordination, and teamwork
- Create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate training activities
- Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging environment
- Communicate professionally with families and club staff
- Arrive prepared and on time for all sessions
- Represent Thunder Soccer Club with professionalism and energy
Requirements:
- Experience as a soccer player or soccer coach is required
- Experience working with children ages 3–5 is preferred
- Experience coaching youth soccer teams is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Patient, responsible, and energetic personality
- Passion for youth development and soccer
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in early childhood sports or youth coaching
- Ability to connect with young players in a positive and supportive way
- Interest in helping build a strong club culture
