Youth Basketball Skills Coach
We are seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Youth Basketball Skills Coach to lead and instruct players in a fun, supportive environment. The coach will be responsible for teaching fundamental basketball skills, including dribbling, shooting, passing, and teamwork, while promoting sportsmanship and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate skill development sessions
- Provide clear instruction and constructive feedback to participants
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, and good sportsmanship
- Communicate effectively with parents and program staff
Qualifications:
- Experience playing or coaching basketball
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work with children of varying skill levels
- CPR/AED certification
This role is ideal for someone passionate about youth development and helping young athletes build confidence through sport.
