Youth Basketball Coach
N Zone Sports is hiring a Youth Basketball Coach for an instructional basketball academy serving children ages 5–16.
The program will take place only on Saturday afternoons from July 18th through August 22nd in Randolph, Massachusetts.
We are looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, enjoys working with children, and has a strong understanding of basketball. Previous coaching experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside other coaches to lead an instructional basketball program for children ages 5–16. Participants will be divided into appropriate age groups. Must be able to coach all age groups.
- Teach the basic skills and fundamentals of basketball through structured drills, skill-development activities, and fun mini-games.
- Create a positive, encouraging, and safe environment for all participants.
- Assist with keeping participants engaged, organized, and moving through their designated stations.
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of basketball.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- At least four years of basketball playing experience is preferred.
- Must be dependable, energetic, patient, and able to communicate effectively with children and other coaches.
Schedule and Location
- Location: Randolph, MA
- Dates: Saturdays from July 18th through August 22nd
- Time: 12:30 PM–4:45 PM
- Schedule: Saturday afternoons only
