Summary
We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at Sports Distribution Company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and order status.
- Load and unload products using forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Prepare shipping documentation and labels for outgoing orders.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
- Assist with order picking and packing for e-commerce fulfillment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role preferred.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate inventory management.
- Familiarity with distribution center operations and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification preferred.
- Experience with AS400 or similar inventory software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
