Duties
- Lead volleyball practices and games, designing drills that improve technical skills, coordination, and teamwork
- Develop individualized training plans tailored to players’ age and skill levels
- Foster a positive team environment by promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and respect among players
- Monitor player performance during practices and competitions, providing constructive feedback for improvement
- Manage behavior and ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities
- Collaborate with parents, school staff, and other coaches to support athlete development and address concerns
- Organize team events, tournaments, and community outreach activities to boost team spirit and engagement
Experience
- Previous coaching experience in volleyball or other team sports is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with children or youth in educational or recreational settings
- Background in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or related fields
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct among young athletes
- Familiarity with playing or coaching volleyball in school or club that promote physical activity and fitness training
- Experience working with students or children in childcare settings is beneficial
