Flixton FC is looking for a passionate, energetic and confident personality to become the face and voice of our matchday experience.
As we prepare for life in the North West Counties Football League, we're building something bigger than football. The Voice of Flixton is about creating atmosphere, entertaining supporters, celebrating our community and helping make every home game a memorable experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring presenter, host, content creator, broadcaster or local personality looking to build their profile while becoming part of one of the North West's most ambitious clubs.
The Role
The Voice of Flixton Matchday Host will help bring energy and personality to our home matches before, during and after kick-off.
Working alongside our media team, DJ and matchday content creators, you will play a key role in creating a unique supporter experience at Valley Road.
Key Responsibilities
- Host pre-match, half-time and post-match supporter engagement activities
- Conduct player, supporter and community interviews
- Deliver matchday announcements and key club messages
- Help create engaging content for social media channels
- Support sponsor and partner activations on matchdays
- Work alongside the wider Voice of Flixton team to create atmosphere and entertainment around the ground
- Represent the club positively within the local community
About You
- Confident and comfortable speaking to crowds and on camera
- Passionate about football, sport and community
- Strong communication and people skills
- Reliable, enthusiastic and proactive
- Comfortable working in a live event environment
- Experience in presenting, broadcasting, content creation, radio or public speaking is desirable but not essential

Time Commitment
The Voice of Flixton plays a key role in creating the full matchday experience, not just during the game itself. Successful applicants should ideally be available for the majority of Flixton FC home fixtures throughout the season.
Matchday Commitment
For each home fixture, we would typically expect the Voice of Flixton to be:
- On-site approximately 2 hours before kick-off
- Supporting pre-match fan engagement, content creation and atmosphere building
- Active throughout the match, including half-time activities and announcements
- Remaining on-site for approximately 1 hour after the final whistle to support post-match interviews, fan interaction and content capture
Typical Fixtures
- Saturday afternoon home matches
- Selected Tuesday evening home matches
- Cup fixtures where applicable
