Position Summary
The Vice President of Ticket Sales is responsible or leading the club’s overall ticket sales strategy, leading all functions related to driving season ticket sales, partial plans, groups, premium sales, renewals, and single game tickets. This role will oversee a team of account executives and will be responsible for establishing and executing against departmental sales goals. This position will report to the Chief Executive Officer.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated plans and sales strategies to drive an increase in ticket sales; including season tickets, groups, partial plans, and single game tickets.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire ticket sales/service, corporate partnerships and ticket operations team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous growth.
  • Collaborate to develop and implement renewal strategies that exceed goals, ensuring the retention and growth of key partnerships.
  • Optimize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and related technologies to improve client management and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute detailed premium and ticket sales and service strategies, establishing clear objectives and actionable steps to achieve ticket sales target.
  • Implement variable and dynamic individual ticket prices to optimize revenue generation through ticket sales where applicable.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement paid social media strategies to drive ticket sales and build potential fan pipeline
  • Assist with the development and administration of customer retention programs – including our season ticket member base.
  • Identity opportunities to turn individual buyers into multi game buyers and multigame buyers into season ticket holders.
  • Oversee and develop pricing analysis and strategy to maximize revenue opportunities through ticket sales
  • Interface with departments to assist in the development, implementation and analysis of ticket sales campaigns.
  • Manage the revenue generating departments’ annual budget to ensure responsible and sustainable business practices that contribute to overall profitability.
  • Assure compliance with all league requirements.
  • Other duties assigned as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 7+ years of experience in a sales or marketing positions in sports.
  • Experience in successfully developing and generating ticket and sponsorship revenues.
  • Proven history of sales success and the ability to build and lead a sales driven and customer focused organization.
  • Experience overseeing financial reports and budgets.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Proven leadership & management abilities.
  • Strong communication and teambuilding skills.
  • Must be willing to travel, including on occasion, internationally.
  • Must be flexible and available to work evenings and/or weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Must pass pre-employment screens.
