Varsity Head Coach – Football

JOB DUTIES

• Lead a comprehensive public high school football program
• Foster a culture of academic excellence, discipline, and character among student-athletes
• Mentor student-athletes in character, academics and post-secondary athletic opportunities
• Direct all strategic game planning and year-round athletic conditioning
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate a high-performing assistant coaching staff
• Cultivate partnerships with parents, alumni, booster clubs, and the local community
• Monitor health and welfare of all student-athletes, enforcing all safety protocols
• Ensure full compliance with district and state athletic regulations
• Other duties, as assigned

Job Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum two years of experience coaching a varsity football program in a public high school
• Knowledge of New York State Public High School Athletic Association and State Education regulations
• Current New York State Coaching Certification – Football 7-12
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
