Role Description The Cricket Presenter is a full-time remote role responsible for hosting, presenting, and commentating on cricket-related content across digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include preparing match previews and reviews, delivering live or recorded commentary, conducting player or expert interviews, and presenting analysis in an engaging and accessible way for a wide audience. The role involves collaborating with content producers and designers to create cohesive video segments, social media clips, and website content aligned with the agency’s brand standards. The Cricket Presenter will research teams, players, and current events, maintain an up-to-date understanding of cricket formats and rules, and adapt presentation style for different platforms and audiences. This role also requires consistent preparation, script refinement, and performance feedback review to ensure high-quality, professional output.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of cricket rules, formats, strategies, and current events, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, including confident on-camera or live-stream presence.
  • Experience in sports presenting, broadcasting, commentary, or hosting digital content such as podcasts, YouTube, or live streams.
  • Ability to research teams, players, statistics, and trends, and convert findings into engaging scripts, talking points, or show outlines.
  • Comfort working with digital tools for recording, streaming, and collaboration (e.g., basic video conferencing, content management, and script-sharing platforms).
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management, preparation for scheduled broadcasts, and adherence to production timelines.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with producers, editors, designers, and marketing teams in a remote environment.
  • Adaptability in tone and style to suit different platforms, audiences, and formats (short-form clips, long-form analysis, interviews).
  • Prior experience in digital media, sports journalism, or content creation is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
