Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Tumbling Coach/Dance Instructor to inspire and develop young dancers’ skills in tumbling, acrobatics, and dance techniques. This dynamic role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and guiding students of various ages through their dance journeys. As a vital part of our team, you will help students build confidence, improve their physical abilities, and cultivate a love for movement and performance. Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive tumbling and dance curricula tailored to different skill levels and age groups
- Lead engaging classes that focus on safety, technique, and artistic expression
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and teamwork
- Provide individualized coaching to help students improve their skills and achieve personal goals
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a fun and motivating atmosphere
- Organize performances or showcases to celebrate student progress and boost confidence
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and other instructors to ensure a cohesive learning experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in tumbling, gymnastics, or dance instruction with a strong background in ballet, theater, or early childhood education
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Ability to work effectively with children and adapt teaching methods for diverse learning needs including special education or preschool experience
- Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, and team members
- Familiarity with photography or videography for documenting student progress is a plus
- Experience in behavior management and childhood development strategies
- Passion for dancing, teaching, and inspiring young performers to reach their full potential
