Duties
- Plan and deliver comprehensive volleyball training sessions tailored to different skill levels
- Lead team practices, drills, and game strategies to enhance player performance
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth
- Monitor player safety during all activities, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols
- Communicate regularly with players, parents, and program coordinators about progress and upcoming events
- Organize travel arrangements for tournaments and competitions, including logistics planning and coordination
- Support the development of players’ physical fitness through related activities such as swimming or martial arts when appropriate
Skills
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly volleyball.
- Strong volleyball I.Q. to include a general knowledge of all positions
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage athletes
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to cultivate discipline, and work ethic among players
- Familiarity with health club or gym environments to incorporate fitness routines into training programs
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, parents, and event organizers
Travel to tournaments is required January- June. This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about sports education, youth development, and creating memorable sporting experiences.
Pay: $25.50 – $40.00 per hour
