About the Role
We’re launching a new trading card section inside an established retail storefront in Studio City and are looking for someone who knows the hobby and wants to help build a card business from the ground up.
This is not just a retail job — you’ll play a key role in:
– Setting up the shop
– Managing inventory
– Buying/selling cards
– Helping grow the brand online and locally

Responsibilities
– Set up and organize card displays, showcases, and inventory
– Price and manage sealed product (wax) and singles
– Assist customers with buying, selling, and trading cards
– Source and evaluate collections for purchase
– Help run eBay / Whatnot / online sales (optional but preferred)
– Track inventory and sales (basic POS or spreadsheets)
– Keep the shop clean, organized, and professional
– Stay up to date on market trends (sports cards + TCG)

Preferred Experience
– Knowledge of sports cards (Topps, Panini, Upper Deck products)
– Familiarity with Pokémon and/or Magic: The Gathering
– Understanding of grading (PSA, BGS, SGC)
– Experience buying/selling cards or running a small collection
– Comfortable using eBay, Instagram, or marketplace apps

Bonus Skills (Big Plus)
– Experience with live breaks or Whatnot streaming
– Social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok)
– Existing network in the hobby
– Retail or sales experience
