219 Sports is a UK-US sports and education consultancy supporting student-athletes into US soccer scholarships and higher education. We have placed 250+ student-athletes on scholarships across America. As a verified partner of League Football Education (LFE), we work alongside clubs, schools, colleges, and sixth forms across the UK.
Alongside our scholarship placement pathway, we run a portfolio of showcase tours across the United States and Europe – professionally managed international football experiences across the United States and Europe.
The Role
will drive the commercial growth of our tours operation – building partnerships with schools, colleges, sixth forms, and clubs, and supporting player recruitment onto our showcase tours and existing business.
Business development is the core of this position. You will also contribute to our US scholarship placement offering through your existing network.
When tours run, you travel. You will spend meaningful time in the United States and across Europe each year as part of the role.
What You'll Do
• Build and manage a pipeline of institutional partners – colleges, sixth forms, schools, and clubs – for our European and US tour programmes
• Recruit individual players onto our US Showcase Tours
• Contribute to our US scholarship placement offering through your existing and new relationships
• Represent 219 Sports at institutions, events, and in direct conversation with players and parents
• Travel on tour to the United States and Europe
What We're Looking For
Essential:
• An active network within UK football education – colleges, sixth forms, schools, academies, or clubs
• Proven ability to sell independently and build relationships
• A genuine understanding of the US college football and scholarship pathway
• Self-directed – comfortable operating with autonomy
• Based in the UK with full right to work
Desirable
• Background in football education or sport development
• Experience in a business development or partnerships role
• Personal experience of the US college pathway
