Position: Tennis Instructor with City

The City of Markham is looking for a Tennis Instructor to lead recreational programs within the Community Services Commission. You will organize lesson content, maintain safety standards, and ensure equipment readiness while creating a welcoming environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and oversee tennis lessons for various age groups
• Design and submit comprehensive lesson plans
• Manage inventory of tennis supplies and equipment
• Document attendance and monitor participant engagement
• Uphold safety and emergency procedures throughout sessions
Requirements:
• Level 1 Ontario Tennis Association Instructor Certification
• Minimum of 3 years in tennis instruction
• Age 16 or older at job start
• Standard First Aid certification with CPR C
• Proficient communication and service-oriented skills
