Tennis Head Coach Jobs in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK at Newcastle University
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Term time only (Sep – Mar) approximately 5 hours per week. Salary by negotiation. Most delivery will take place at the Northumberland Club in Jesmond.
Responsiibilities:
- To lead engaging, high quality group coaching sessions to Newcastle University Tennis Club’s BUCS squad
- To run trials, pick squads and ranking orders for teams
- To attend key home BUCS fixtures to provide coaching support and identify areas of improvement
- To deliver targeted individual/pairs/small group coaching sessions to supplement the larger squad sessions
LTA Coach (Level
3) qualification or above with accredited + status. Ideally the successful candidate should be a current or ex-tennis player of a good standard, with experience developing young players at a performance level.
