Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver comprehensive tennis lessons tailored to individual skill levels and goals
- Demonstrate proper techniques for strokes, footwork, and game strategies in a clear, motivating manner
- Monitor players’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions and matches
- Organize practice drills, friendly competitions, and special events to boost engagement
- Collaborate with other sports coaches to integrate physical education principles across activities
- Maintain equipment, court safety standards, and cleanliness to ensure an optimal training environment
Skills
- Proven experience in tennis coaching or playing at a competitive level
- Strong background in sports coaching, teaching, or physical education instruction
- Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to foster discipline and positive attitudes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of all ages
