Contract: 210 Days

Alma School District is seeking an assistant football coach certified to teach 7-12 Education. The assistant football coach works directly with the guidelines provided by the Arkansas Activities Association.This position is a 210 day contract to begin in July.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET

• Holds or can secure Arkansas teacher licensein 7-12 education
• Teaching assignment to be determined
• Valid Arkansas Coaching certification or endorsement
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth
• CDL encouraged, but not required
• Appropriate classroom management skills
• Assist the Head Football Coach with the day-to-day operations of the football program
• Assist with Special Teams responsibilities
• Assist the Head Spring Sports Coach with the day-to-day operations of a spring sport
• Will help develop and assist with the off-season program
• Demonstrate an active interest in the academic progress of student athletes in an attempt to prevent academic eligibility problems
• Other duties as assigned
