Taekwondo Instructor (Full-Time & Part-Time)
About Us
True Black Belt Taekwondo is a growing martial arts academy in Glen Allen, Virginia, dedicated to helping children build confidence, discipline, respect, and leadership through Taekwondo. We are looking for energetic, reliable, and passionate instructors who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in their community.
Whether you are an experienced instructor or looking to grow your teaching career, we provide training and opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging Taekwondo classes for children, teens and adults
- Create a fun, safe, and positive learning environment
- Motivate students while maintaining discipline and respect
- Assist with belt testing, special events, camps, and demonstrations
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Help students achieve their martial arts goals while building confidence and character
Qualifications
- Taekwondo or martial arts experience required
- Black Belt preferred
- Previous teaching or coaching experience is a plus
- Enjoy working with children
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends

Schedule
We are currently hiring both Full-Time and Part-Time instructors.
Typical hours include afternoon and evening classes Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday events.
Pay
$18.00 – $25.00 per hour
