We are looking to hire a part-time Swim Coach. Available hours per week can range based on availability, but will require a minimum of 1 weekend day.
Coaching Duties
- Lead Age Group
- Designs and implements season plan for teaching and training
- Designs and implements daily practices for assigned groups
- Attends and engages in all scheduled practices
- Evaluates seasonal and daily practices
- Assists with recruitment and retention of athletes
- Assistant coaches for other groups as assigned
- Implements training and teaching progressions
- Motivates and participates in goal setting to help athletes reach potential
- Recommends individual and relay events for all meets for athletes
- Schedules, attends and engages in meets as assigned
- Participates in Parent Education
- Maintain daily attendance records for training groups
Administrative Duties
- Execute the vision, mission, and objectives of the team
- Communicates regularly with staff
- Communicates with membership via phone, email, text and team website
- Responds promptly to all swimmer/parent/coach communication
- Other duties as assigned
