Swim Instruction Specialist Jobs in Woodstock at Chattahoochee Gold Swimming

Responsibilities:
- Provide swim instruction to individuals or groups of varying ages and skill levels.
- Create and implement lesson plans focused on our skill programming and teaching techniques.
- Ensure the safety of participants by incorporating lifeguard skills when necessary.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging environment for all participants.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Commit to summer availability – this is a must!
- Pick 1-3 days that you can consistently commit to each week.
- Shifts are available from 4:15-8:00pm Monday through Friday, and 8:00am-1:00pm on Saturdays through May 23rd. Over the Summer, we will have afternoon shifts from 3:15-7:30/8pm and potential morning shfts. Longer shifts are available if you’d like!
What we’re looking for in an ideal candidate:
- Previous swimming and instructing experience.
- A passion for teaching and helping others succeed.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus!
- Must be reliable with transportation and able to commit to summer scheduling.
Pay: Based on experience. We offer paid training to ensure you’re ready to succeed!

Qualifications
- Strong background in sports coaching and teaching, particularly in swimming and physical education.
- Certification as a lifeguard is preferred.
- Experience in childcare and working with children in a recreational setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is advantageous.
- Passion for promoting positivity and swimming safety through engaging instruction.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
