Pay Rate: $ 1800 To $ 2000/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Day Shift | 10-Hour Shifts | Rotating Weekday, Weekend & Holiday Call

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity at Genesis Healthcare System. The ideal candidate will provide intraoperative support for orthopedic procedures while assisting other surgical specialties as needed in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during orthopedic procedures, including total joint, sports medicine, and trauma cases.

• Prepare and manage orthopedic implants, grafts, instruments, and sterile supplies.

• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with perioperative safety standards.

• Support additional specialties including General Surgery, Urology, GYN, ENT, Neuro, Podiatry, and Robotics as needed.

• Participate in rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call with a required 30-minute response time.

Requirements

• Current Surgical Technologist Certification required.

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience with a strong orthopedic surgery focus.

• Experience with orthopedic implants, grafts, robotics, advanced surgical technology required.

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative standards.

• Experience using EPIC EMR and ability to adapt to multiple surgical teams and workflows.
