Surf Instructor – Part Time – North County San Diego Jobs in Encinitas at Wavehuggers Surf School
Wavehuggers is looking to hire surf instructors for:
- Private/Group Surf Lessons
- Open Group Classes
- Kids Surf Camp

- You are patient, energetic, confident, and out-going
- Your schedule is flexible
- You are a good problem-solver and can handle a high-stress environment
- You are reliable and responsive
- You are a morning person
Requirements:
- CPR/First-Aid certification (can be obtained after hired)
- Ability to store and transport foamboards and wetsuits
- Capability of managing your own schedule
- Willingness to drive to all of our SD locations (La Jolla, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside)
Compensation:
- You will receive a base pay per hour
- Pay increases depending on type of instruction with multiple people
- Commission for referrals
- Raises for outstanding performance available
- Customers often tip our instructors
