DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this class within the organization is to manage and oversee the daily operations of assigned facilities and grounds.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Functions:

Must be able to communicate with others in spoken and written English to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the business.

Manages and oversees the maintenance of all assigned staff. Determines staffing needs, establishes schedules and methods of providing facility services, identifies resource needs, review needs with appropriate management staff, and allocates resources accordingly.

Oversees maintenance and safety methods, procedures and techniques; will develop and organize preventive maintenance and safety review program for facilities. Assigns, monitors and ensures all work orders are completed in an effective and timely manner.

Formulates, manages, oversees and executes the annual budget for all assigned facilities, as assigned. Prepares written recommendations for the Executive Team.

Additional Duties:

Performs other work as assigned.

Physical Demands:

Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis.

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires an Associate Degree or Vocational Technical Degree in facility management or closely related field.

Requires four years of supervisory experience in closely related field.

Special Certifications and Licenses:

Must have a valid driver’s license.
