Summer Baseball/Softball Camp Coach Jobs in Nassau at Camp Schodack
Location: 40 Krouner Rd. Nassau, NY. 12123
The Activity:
The Baseball/Softball Coach teaches softball and/or baseball to campers ages 8 through 15.
You must know the game well and must be able to teach basic skills at different ability levels. You will often have 12 to 20 campers during a 50-minute period (with 1-2 bunk counselors there to support). During that time, you will skill build, practice, and organize games. You must strive to make the activity motivating and fun for the campers.
Job skills/requirement:
- Childcare or coaching experience (required)
- Previous baseball experience (required)
- Problem-solving skills
- Warm and caring personality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Dates
July 1 – August 10, 2026 (end date somewhat flexible)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $3,000.00 – $5,000.00 per year
