Second Wind is assembling a select group of Strategic Advisors to help shape one of the fastest-growing platforms at the intersection of sports, technology, financial services, and athlete representation.
We're building more than an agency.
We're building the operating system for modern athletics.
Today, Second Wind consists of three integrated businesses:
- Second Wind Pro — Athlete Representation
- Second Wind AI — Roster Intelligence & NIL decision software for athletic departments
- Second Wind Financial — White-glove banking, tax, and financial infrastructure for college athletes

- Strategic partnerships with Bank of America and Withum
- Active institutional fundraising
- Proprietary technology built and in market
- Growing roster of collegiate athletes
- Expanding relationships across athletic departments, collectives, conferences, and professional sports
As college athletics rapidly professionalizes, we're looking for experienced leaders who want to help shape what comes next.
What You'll Do
As a Strategic Advisor, you'll work directly with the Founder and executive leadership team to help accelerate the company's next stage of growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Advise leadership on NIL, roster management, athlete representation, and industry trends
- Introduce strategic investors, institutional partners, and key decision-makers
- Support fundraising efforts through strategic introductions and credibility
- Help expand relationships with athletic departments, conferences, collectives, professional organizations, and athlete development programs
- Provide guidance on long-term product strategy across Second Wind AI and Second Wind Financial
- Share insights on emerging changes within collegiate and professional athletics
- Represent Second Wind within your network and at select industry events
Ideal Background
We're looking for accomplished leaders who have built credibility throughout sports.
Examples include:
- Former professional athletes
- Former collegiate athletes with influential networks
- NCAA or professional coaches
- General Managers
- Athletic Directors
- Front Office Executives
- Agents
- League Executives
- Conference Executives
- Sports technology founders
- Sports media leaders
- Investors focused on sports, technology, or consumer platforms
Experience with football, basketball, Olympic sports, athlete development, recruiting, NIL, professional sports, or sports business is highly valued.
Commitment
- Approximately 5–10 hours per month
- Monthly advisory call
- Founder strategy sessions as needed
- Strategic introductions when opportunities arise
Compensation
This is an equity-based advisory position.
Top advisors may receive up to 1% equity, structured through long-term vesting based on expected contribution and strategic involvement.
