Melrose Massage Spa is a newly opened wellness space blending luxury spa experiences with intentional bodywork and modern recovery services. We are currently seeking a Sports Therapy Massage Therapist who is passionate about movement, recovery, pain relief, and helping clients reconnect with their bodies through therapeutic care.
This position is ideal for therapists who enjoy working with active clients, athletes, fitness-focused individuals, and guests seeking targeted recovery work while still delivering a calming, elevated experience.
We are looking for practitioners who want to grow alongside a new business, contribute their unique skill set, and help shape the culture of a supportive wellness environment from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized sports and therapeutic massage sessions based on client goals and physical needs
- Incorporate techniques such as deep tissue, assisted stretching, trigger point therapy, myofascial work, mobility-focused bodywork, and recovery techniques
- Educate clients on recovery, body awareness, and maintenance care
- Maintain professional treatment notes and client communication
- Uphold cleanliness, professionalism, and the elevated atmosphere of the spa
- Collaborate with fellow wellness practitioners in a supportive team environment
Qualifications
- Active California Massage Therapy Certification or License
- Strong understanding of anatomy, muscular recovery, and body mechanics
- Experience or interest in sports massage, stretch therapy, corrective work, or recovery-focused treatments
- Newly licensed therapists are encouraged to apply
