Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sports Performance Physical Therapist to join our team and elevate athletic potential through expert physiotherapy care. In this role, you will work closely with athletes, active adults, and medical professionals to optimize performance, prevent injuries, and facilitate swift recoveries. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and specialized therapy techniques will drive positive outcomes for athletes across all levels of sport.

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of athletes’ physical condition, identifying areas for improvement and injury risk.
- Develop personalized care plans that incorporate physiotherapy techniques such as Dry needling, program design, and exercise prescriptions.
- Implement injury prevention strategies through targeted training programs focused on biomechanics and movement efficiency.
- Manage discharge planning for athletes returning to sport or activity, ensuring safe and effective transitions.
- Provide treatment across various settings including online programming and in person appointments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for acute injuries, chronic conditions, or post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Document patient progress meticulously using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and communicate updates effectively with athletes and healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Valid license as a licensed Physical Therapist with specialization or experience in sports performance preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to sports injuries and rehabilitation.
- Proven experience in physiotherapy within outpatient clinics, hospital inpatient units, or home & community care settings.
- Strong understanding of injury management including discharge planning, care plans, and acute care protocols.
- Hands-on experience with trigger point therapy, orthopedics-focused treatments, and runners applicable.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to motivate athletes through education and personalized treatment strategies.

Pay: $42.50 – $65.00 per hour
