Sports Performance Coach Jobs in Mechanicsville at Impact Sports Academy
Impact Sports Academy RVA is looking to add an energetic, motivated, and reliable Sports Performance Coach. We are seeking coaches who have a passion for helping athletes develop both on and off the field while creating a positive, high-energy training environment.
This position includes group training and personal training for athletes ranging from 4th grade through college.
Position Details
- Part-time position
- Evening availability required during the school year
- Morning and evening availability preferred during summer months
- Opportunities for additional hours through private and sport-specific training
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with sports performance classes for youth, middle school, high school, and college athletes
- Coach athletes in speed, agility, strength, mobility, and injury prevention
- Provide a positive and encouraging training environment
- Assist with athlete assessments and progress tracking
- Build relationships with athletes and parents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized training environment
- Support social media/content creation through photos or videos from sessions when needed
Qualifications
- Background in strength & conditioning, kinesiology, exercise science, physical education, coaching, or related field preferred
- Previous coaching, training, or playing experience preferred
- Experience working with youth athletes is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- High energy, dependable, and team-oriented
- CPR/AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

We are looking for coaches who care more about athlete development, confidence, and long-term growth. Our coaches are expected to lead by example, bring energy to every session, and help athletes build discipline, accountability, and confidence through sports performance training.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
