Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee the college’s sports and recreational programs.
- Schedule and coordinate sports events, tournaments, and practice sessions.
- Promote sports activities and encourage student participation.
- Provide support and guidance to student-athletes and sports teams.
- Maintain records of student-athlete performance, eligibility, and compliance with college policies.
- Prepare and submit reports on sports program activities and outcomes.
- Coordinate with external organisations for inter-collegiate competitions and events.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote sports programs and events.
- Engage with the college community through social media, newsletters, and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field (Master’s or higher degree preferred).
- Previous experience in sports management or a similar role in an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of sports regulations, safety practices, and event management.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for program management.
