Competing at the elite level—whether as an Olympian, World Champion, or D1 First Team All-American—requires discipline, focus, and relentless drive. The question is: can you turn those championship lessons into concrete coaching methods that elevate students into top performers?
At Texas Sports Academy, your next challenge involves building champions not from the sidelines, but through direct coaching that pushes students past their perceived boundaries each day. This role goes beyond storytelling. You'll convert elite athletic principles into practical motivational tools, deliver resilience training through interactive workshops, and lead intensive practice sessions where championship standards are non-negotiable.
Austin provides year-round outdoor training conditions, a dynamic sports-focused community, and a purpose-led environment where your competitive background fuels the development of tomorrow's leaders.
Lead with intention. Drive real change. Submit your application today.
What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting targeted 1:1 coaching sessions where you convert your competitive athletic experience into precise, actionable mentorship strategies
- Facilitating high-impact morning assemblies that energize the full student community
- Delivering interactive life skills workshops where you directly coach students on resilience, leadership development, and goal achievement
- Overseeing structured afternoon sports training sessions that embody championship principles: creating drills, demanding maximum effort, refining technique, and instilling grit and collaboration through athletic activity (not merely supervising recreation)
- Maintaining proactive engagement with all students daily: moving through independent study periods, stepping in to inspire students facing obstacles, and generating teachable moments that catalyze breakthrough performance
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Observing passively from the periphery: this is an active coaching position, not a symbolic role. You will be directly involved, leading sessions, and making real-time interventions.
- Delivering conventional academic instruction or adhering to set curricula: students engage with adaptive learning technology. Your focus is on life coaching, motivational guidance, and developing meta-skills through athletics and mentorship.
