Sports Medicine Physical Therapist – Long-term Contract Jobs in Exeter, NH at Elios, Inc.
A long-established outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine clinic on New Hampshire’s Seacoast is bringing on a travel Physical Therapist for a 13 or 26-week contract, with the option to convert to a permanent role at the end of the assignment if it’s a fit on both sides. Clean ortho caseload, real treatment time, aide support on every shift.
Contract Details
- Length: 13 or 26 weeks.
- Hours: 40 per week.
- Start date: flexible, ASAP preferred.
- Contract-to-perm option at the end of the assignment for the right clinician.

Location and Schedule
- Location: Exeter, NH.
- Office hours: 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday.
- Schedule: four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days. If you take 8s, plan on covering the 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM closing shift most days.

- Strong team. 15 to 30 years of experience on the floor, collaborative open-concept layout with private rooms when needed.
- Modern facility. On-site digital imaging, MRI, musculoskeletal ultrasound, outpatient surgery center, walk-in injury clinic. Nationally accredited.
- Seacoast lifestyle. Beaches, breweries, mountains west, Portland and Boston each about an hour away.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate and treat a broad outpatient ortho and sports medicine caseload: ACL and meniscus, rotator cuff, total joints, spine, hip and lower extremity, hand and upper extremity, tendinopathies, ankle sprains, fractures, and tendon ruptures. Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, dry needling (where credentialed), Graston Technique, and indicated modalities. Carry post-op patients through surgeon-driven protocols and document timely workers’ comp progress reports and clinical notes.
Required
- DPT or Master’s in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
- Active NH Physical Therapy license or PT Compact privilege before start date.
- Minimum 6 months of outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience.
- Current BLS / CPR.
- Strong manual therapy fundamentals and ability to get productive quickly in a new clinic.
Preferred
- Prior travel assignment experience.
- Specialty credentials (OCS, SCS, CSCS) or training in manual therapy, dry needling, or Graston Technique.
- Comfort treating athletes across the age spectrum.
Pay: $2,000.00 – $2,400.00 per week
