The YMCA of Middle TN is Now Hiring for a Sports Director, Davidson County for it’s Centralized Youth Sports Office

Pay Type: Salary

Pay Range: $50615 per year to $63,269 (depending on experience)

Shifts: Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Our Hiring Team is pumped to bring on a Sports Director, Davidson County who’s passionate about youth development, teamwork, and creating high-quality sports experiences for kids and families across our communities. In this role, you’ll lead, grow, and elevate youth sports programming while helping bring #values to life on and off the field.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan, lead, and oversee youth sports programs from scheduling to game day
• Recruit, train, and support program staff, coaches, and volunteers
• Coordinate leagues, clinics, practices, and events across multiple locations
• Partner with marketing and center leadership to grow participation
• Communicate with families, handle schedules, and respond to program needs
• Manage program budgets, facilities, equipment, and safety protocols

What We’re Looking For:

• 
  Minimum Age: 21
• 2–3 years of experience in sports programming, supervision, or administration
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to inspire staff and volunteers while keeping participants first
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (high school diploma or equivalent required)
