We're building AI that understands sports at a deep level — and great AI starts with great data. We need a detail-obsessed Annotation Specialist who can label and quality-check the sports data that powers our models.
🛠️ What You'll Do:
Annotate sports video footage and images — player bounding boxes, key points, action labels, ball tracking, and event tagging
Perform quality checks and audits on annotated datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
Follow and improve annotation guidelines, taxonomy, and labelling standards
Collaborate with the AI/ML team to understand model requirements and data needs
Identify edge cases, flag data quality issues, and maintain structured data pipelines
✅ What We're Looking For:
1+ years of experience in data annotation or a similar role
Strong attention to detail — you catch inconsistencies others miss
Good understanding of sports — game rules, player positions, and game events
Familiarity with annotation tools — CVAT, Labelbox, Roboflow, or similar
Basic understanding of how annotated data feeds into CV or ML pipelines
Self-disciplined and able to meet annotation targets consistently
🎯 Nice to Have:
Experience annotating sports footage — cricket, football, basketball, or similar
Knowledge of computer vision concepts — detection, pose estimation, segmentation
Background as an athlete, sports analyst, or in sports media
