About The Opportunity
A dynamic startup in the sports & community engagement sector, we’re building a pan-India platform that connects athletes, coaches, and fans through hyper-local sports communities. Our mission is to democratize access to sports infrastructure, events, and mentorship — turning passion into participation. We’re scaling fast and seeking a vibrant, people-first Community Manager to own the on-ground pulse of our network. Role & Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and activate local sports captains across cities to lead grassroots teams and events.
- Design and execute weekly community campaigns — tournaments, skill clinics, meetups — driving engagement and retention.
- Partner with local gyms, academies, and venues to co-create experiences that bring our brand to life.
- Monitor community health metrics — participation rates, feedback, social buzz — and share actionable insights with product & marketing.
- Be the voice of the community internally: translate player pain points into product improvements and feature requests.
- Manage 10–15 local ambassadors per city, coaching them on brand values, comms, and event logistics.

- Excel / Google Sheets
- WhatsApp Business / Telegram management
- Social media coordination (Instagram, Facebook)
- Conflict resolution
- Basic CRM tools
- Preferred
- Experience in sports academies or fitness clubs
- Background in amateur sports (playing/coaching)
- Familiarity with UGC content workflows
