Role Description
Up to 35hrs, on-site role for a Sports Coach covering primary schools in Bolton and the surrounding areas. Salary £19750 – £25000 depending on experience. Will be expected to work some evenings. Ability to travel to different locations essential, driving preferred. The Sports Coach will be responsible for planning and delivering sports training sessions, developing personalized coaching plans, and fostering a positive and engaging environment. Responsibilities include teaching physical education and sports techniques, enhancing participants' skills and physical fitness, and ensuring safety measures during sessions. The coach will also engage in effective communication with participants, parents, and stakeholders to support development and promote enthusiasm for sports.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Physical Education and Sports Coaching
- Strong skills in Coaching and Sports Training techniques
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal abilities to motivate and engage effectively
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in Sports or Physical Education
- Proven experience in coaching or training individuals and teams
- Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging sporting environment
- First Aid certification and knowledge of safety practices (preferred)
