Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items including specialty drinks, appetizers, and premium dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction with a positive attitude
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation standards
- Support opening or closing procedures, including cash handling, inventory checks, and setup or breakdown of service stations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in sports bars or nightlife venues
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a lively atmosphere
- Ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
- Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
