Job Summary
Turf Paradise the only horse race track in Phoenix, is currently hiring part-time/full-time tellers work at our off-track betting locations in the Cave Creek area.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with placing horseracing bets accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with betting regulations
- Selling and cashing of mutuel tickets for simulcast races.
- Handle cash transactions while maintaining precise cash management and cashiering procedures and a change bank.
- Educate patrons on betting options, odds, and upcoming races to enhance their engagement and betting success
- Manage customer relationships by providing friendly service, upselling additional betting options or promotions to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue
- Must complete required paperwork and balance bank at end of shift.
- Promote positive public relations.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have clean criminal background (no felony convictions)
- Must speak English (other languages a plus but not required)
- Cash handling experience.
- Good understanding of horseracing betting a plus
- Prior mutuel teller experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong background in money handling, customer relationship management, and retail math to support accurate transactions and upselling opportunities
- Knowledge of banking principles such as cash handling and basic math to ensure precise cash management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about betting options and racing events
- Strong relationship management skills to foster repeat business and build rapport with diverse patrons
