JOB SUMMARY
Essential Functions:
- Assists the LVM Sports & Entertainment Manager in strategy and execution of all ticketed events for internal and external venues like, Sphere, T-Mobile, Allegiant, Colosseum and PH Live.
- Assists in managing the Sports & Entertainment ticket blocks and criteria for the Las Vegas region.
- Assists in managing the transfer of digital tickets and distribution of physical tickets for all Sports & Entertainment events in the LVM.
- Assists in managing the marketing and communication associated with internal and external Sports & Entertainment venues, collaborating with the Marketing teams, and ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Must be a proactive and personable relationship builder who will serve as the primary point of contact for internal leadership, hosts, external vendors, and key stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Maintains a calendar of all scheduled Sports & Entertainment events and ensures that files are in order and contain the proper information.
- Communicates all upcoming and added Sports & Entertainment events to the Marketing team and property operators.
- Coaches and develops team to ensure the guest experience is smooth and our service initiatives are met and/or exceeded.
- Manages all Food and Beverage expenses, orders, requests for external outlets.
- Maintain accurate records of all revisions, and relay pertinent information to the appropriate client groups.
- Compile, update, and monitor various financial reports. Verify and reconcile all financial information and explain any discrepancies. Prepare cost projections for all ticketed events, as well as final actual costs at the completion of all ticketed events.
- Distribute post-event reporting to senior leadership.
- Determines and coordinates the necessary resources (people, products, etc.) needed to execute each ticketed event and promotion.
- Processes cash and credit card transactions in accordance with the policies set forth in Marketing Operations, to include but not limited to processing ticket sales and working with ticket selling teams throughout the city.
- Updates and monitors guest lists and accessible seating guest lists, works with host leaders on seating requests and assignments.
- Gathers all analysis of tickets for attendees.
- Resolves client and guest concerns and disputes.
- May plan or assist on Hospitality or Casino player events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year related work experience (ticketed/retails events, sales events, casino player events, special events or promotional events) is required.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills.
- Must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written, problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to coordinate and execute multiple-projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a professional appearance and be a team player.
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be fluent and literate in English.
- Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions, when handling guest and employee conflicts.
- Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor via stairways (minimum of 200 steps) or by escalator.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to walk long distances.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Must have the manual dexterity to stoop, bend, twist, grab, grip, type, pull, hold, tear, sort, and reach, as well as operate office and computer equipment.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include weekends, nights and holidays.
