Responsibilities
- Assist in managing ticket sales processes, including distribution, validation, and reconciliation of tickets at athletic events
- Supervise ticketing staff and volunteers during events, ensuring efficient shift management and guest services
- Coordinate with event staff to facilitate seamless entry procedures and resolve any ticketing issues promptly
- Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and security during transactions
- Prepare detailed reports on ticket sales, attendance figures, and operational activities for management review
- Support the planning and execution of special events or promotions related to athletic games or tournaments
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns, and enhancing overall event experience
Skills
- Proven experience in managing ticketing operations within a fast-paced environment such as nightclubs, restaurants, or hospitality venues
- Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising teams or managing shifts effectively
- Excellent communication skills for report writing, guest interactions, and team coordination
- Knowledge of events management principles and customer service excellence
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Experience in hospitality or resort settings is highly desirable
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a customer-focused setting is preferred
