II. Position Summary: 

The Social Content Producer is responsible for creating, editing and delivering high-quality social-first content across Soapbox’s client portfolio.

Working closely with account teams, clients and talent, the role will lead the production of short-form content designed to drive engagement across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms.

Alongside client delivery, the Social Content Producer will play a key role in supporting Soapbox’s own marketing activity and new business efforts by producing content for agency channels, credentials, pitches and proposals.

This role suits someone who is creatively driven, culturally aware and passionate about sport, entertainment and social media, with a strong understanding of how content performs across different platforms.

III. Essential Functions

Content Creation & Production

  • Film and edit social-first content across client accounts.
  • Produce content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging short-form video content from live events, shoots and campaign activations.
  • Capture content on-site at events, races, tournaments, launches and media opportunities.
  • Edit content quickly and efficiently for real-time publishing opportunities.
  • Design and create simple motion graphics and social assets where required.
  • Ensure all content is platform-appropriate and aligned with client objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the media archive for both agency and client projects, and keep them up to date and well-maintained
  • In-house equipment maintenance and management

Client Content Delivery

  • Work closely with account teams to deliver agreed content calendars and campaign assets.
  • Support content production for clients
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously across a varied client portfolio.
  • Attend client events and content shoots as required.
  • Liaise with clients, talent and stakeholders to secure approvals and feedback.
  • Ensure all content is delivered on time and to a consistently high standard.

Social Media & Platform Expertise

  • Stay up to date with platform trends, features and best practices.
  • Identify reactive and trend-led opportunities for clients.
  • Advise teams on content formats and platform-specific approaches.
  • Monitor content performance and provide recommendations for future optimisation.
  • Understand how social content integrates with PR, influencer and partnership activity.

Agency Marketing & New Business

  • Produce content for Soapbox’s own social media channels.
  • Capture and create content from agency events, client successes and industry moments.
  • Support the creation of credentials, case studies and award submissions through visual storytelling.
  • Assist with new business pitches by creating content concepts, mock-ups and presentation assets.
  • Contribute creative ideas and content formats that help differentiate Soapbox in competitive pitches.
  • Support the development of showreels and portfolio materials showcasing agency work.

Collaboration & Team Support

  • Work closely with Communications, Partnerships and Studios teams.
  • Support account teams with content planning and ideation.
  • Assist in the development of content strategies and campaign concepts.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative workshops.
  • Help build and maintain efficient content production processes across the agency.

IV. Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in Media, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • 2–4 years’ experience producing social content, either agency-side, in-house or freelance.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first content creation.
  • Experience filming and editing content across multiple social platforms.
  • Experience working within sport, entertainment, lifestyle or consumer brands preferred.
  • Understanding of talent-led and event-based content creation.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple deadlines.

V. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience using CapCut and mobile-first editing tools.
  • Basic motion graphics and animation capability desirable.
  • Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting and audio capture.
  • Experience creating content natively for social platforms.
  • Have a working understanding of the latest generative AI tools and their applications across the production workflow, such as Seedance
  •  Experience with Sony cameras including FX6, FX9, A7s and similar models

Content & Creative Skills

  • Excellent storytelling instincts.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and culture.
  • Ability to identify engaging content opportunities quickly.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to idea generation.
  • Strong visual eye and attention to detail.
  • Ability to write and design basic decks to communicate an idea or creative with software such as Canva, InDesign or Google Slides

VIII. Compensation and Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent position
  • Flexible working hours policy

  • Bespoke training and development plans 
  • Role will be based in Soapbox London’s office (nearest stations are Borough and London Bridge)
  • Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional travel and weekend work may be required
