Position: Ski Resort Snowboarding Instructor Needed
Location: West Vancouver
Join an exciting team as a Snowboarding Instructor at a ski resort, teaching and leading activities outdoors in cold environments.
Your role will focus on fitness and safety for all participants.
In this position as a Ski Resort Snowboarding Instructor, you will engage with participants by demonstrating snowboarding techniques and leading recreational sports programs. You will schedule activities and maintain safety standards to ensure enjoyable experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for instructors who thrive in outdoor settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct individuals and groups in snowboarding techniques
• Plan and conduct fitness and recreational activities
• Keep detailed logs of sessions and participant progress
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and respond to emergencies
• Support coordination of sport and fitness events
Requirements:
• Have a CASI Certification
• Experience in athletic instruction is preferred
• Must pass criminal and vulnerable sector checks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts
