Shipping and Inventory Coordinator – Warehouse Customer Service
Sporting goods manufacturing. In-house, USA made fishing rods.
Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving and storing products, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of products.
SHIPPING & INVENTORY
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and delivery of products and materials.
- Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
- Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
- Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment
- Research shipping carriers to determine best shipping method and payment terms for outgoing orders (based on size, weight, packaging, destination)
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Respond to customer questions by phone and email
- Order Entry, verify pricing and production specifications
- Process incoming orders, maintain customer’s orders to ensure deadlines are met
- Produce estimates and quotations for customers on an as needed basis.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a warehouse clerk or warehouse manager
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations
- Must have experience booking and tracking shipments with multiple carriers – USPS, UPS, FedEx, ESL, etc
- Courteous, and professional communications with customers and team members
- Ability to perform math functions including work with fractions, manipulating and recording figures to provide accurate quantities and estimating
- Strong attention to detail; highly organized
- Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm
