Desert Sunglass is looking for an upbeat, team-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our awesome team! If you have a passion for eyewear, positive “can do” attitude, like being part of a team, and possess the required qualifications, check out the job duties below and apply!
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and condition against packing slips and purchase orders
Unload, inspect, label, and properly store inbound inventory
Accurately pack and ship sales orders in a timely manner to meet daily deadlines
Prepare shipping documents and labels using carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, LTL)
Coordinate pickups and deliveries and report damages or discrepancies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving areaFollow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times
Physical & Job Requirements:
Ability to safely lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 60 lbsAbility to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
Basic computer and shipping software skills preferred
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Warehouse or shipping/receiving experience a plus
Other Requirements:
Able to multi-task and a helpful “can do” attitude to assist with many different areas of production and operations.
Able to stand and move about the warehouse isles when pulling / fulfilling orders.
$16.50 (starting)
Employees recieve a 90 day review and annual review.
7:30am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday work schedule.
No nights or weekends!
