We have an exciting opportunity for a Sessional Elite Sport Assessor to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College.
We are seeking a highly committed and motivated assessor to join the Elite Sport program area. You will be required to assess and tutor elite sport learners, most notably as part of the Diploma in Sporting Excellence program.
Responsibilities
- Act as an assessor for groups or individual students on a range of programmes ensuring that practical and written work is assessed in line with awarding organisation and college requirements.
- Closely monitor the welfare of all students and act in accordance with safeguarding policies where required.
- Deliver classroom‑based workshops or portfolio building.
- Undertake appropriate staff development and training, including the maintenance and updating of specialist skills across approximately 4 training days per year.
Qualifications
- Experience of elite sport and a relevant degree.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Assessors/Verifiers qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Willingness to travel as and when required.

The successful candidate will be employed by The Leicestershire College, a subsidiary company of Loughborough College. The terms and conditions of employment offered by The Leicestershire College are different to those of Loughborough College. Employees of The Leicestershire College are based at one of the campuses of Loughborough College Group.
