Role Overview:
To establish, lead and grow the UAS Charter Brokerage business by developing commercial strategy, generating profitable revenue, building strategic industry partnerships, and creating a scalable charter operation that contributes significantly to UAS growth objectives.
The incumbent will function as the lead of the Charter division and be responsible for the business unit's commercial performance, profitability, client acquisition strategy, and future organizational development.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute the Charter business strategy.
- Establish annual revenue, GP and growth plans.
- Identify market opportunities and new revenue streams.
- Build the roadmap for future Charter business expansion.
Revenue & Profitability Ownership
- Own and deliver annual Charter revenue and GP targets.
- Maintain minimum GP margin targets.
- Develop pricing strategies and commercial governance.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth and repeat business.
Business Development:
- Acquire new charter clients across corporate, VIP, government, sports, energy and entertainment sectors.
- Develop strategic relationships with aircraft operators, brokers and aircraft owners.
- Build a sustainable portfolio of high-value accounts.
Commercial Leadership:
- Lead negotiations for complex charter opportunities.
- Act as executive point of contact for key clients.
- Ensure exceptional client retention and service standards.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee charter delivery standards and commercial performance.
- Ensure efficient handling of charter requests.
- Implement operational KPIs and service quality measures.
Charter Function Building:
- Establish CRM discipline, reporting and forecasting processes.
- Develop succession and team expansion plans.
- Recruit and lead future Charter team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 7–10 Years of proven experience in Charter Sales or a senior commercial role within the aviation industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Aviation, Marketing, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Demonstrated track record of generating a minimum USD 1M+ annual Gross Profit within a charter brokerage, aircraft operator, or private aviation environment.
- Must possess an active and transferable network of charter clients, brokers, operators, aircraft owners, and aviation stakeholders capable of supporting accelerated business development.
- Strong commercial and operational knowledge of charter flight operations and aviation industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and lead within a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and provide support when required.
