Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Coordinator, located in Port Moresby. The Security Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of company assets, staff, and properties by implementing effective security measures. Key responsibilities include managing physical security operations, conducting security awareness programs, overseeing cybersecurity efforts, and managing information security protocols. The role also involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and enhance comprehensive security strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Physical Security and Security Management
- Proficiency in implementing Security Awareness initiatives and training programs
- Experience in Cybersecurity and Information Security practices
- Ability to manage and develop security policies and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Prior experience in security operations within a corporate or industrial setting
- Relevant certifications or a degree in Security Management, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous
