Position: Premium Seating Gameday Student Ambassador
Premium Seating Gameday Student Ambassador
Provide support for the game day operation and management of all premium seating spaces of the University of Georgia Athletic Association, serving as goodwill ambassadors to premium seating guests while implementing operational and procedural policies set forth by UGAAA.
Responsibilities
- Assist Premium Seating Directors with operational management during UGA Athletics game days.
- Provide high levels of customer service to all Premium Seating guests while maintaining a service‑first, solution‑mindset.
- Communicate effectively with multiple constituent groups on game days—including staff, donors, and vendors—via in‑person or radio interaction.
- Maintain exclusivity of premium areas by monitoring entry points, reviewing tickets, and implementing policies and procedures.
- Perform all pre‑game, in‑game, and post‑game duties specific to the assigned position.
- Assist in game week preparations of the Premium Seating operations.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Hourly employee working home football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and baseball events.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a team‑oriented environment preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
- Lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40 lbs.
- Work in outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Maintain close and distant vision, and peripheral vision.
- Talk or hear and manage the noise level in the work environment, which is usually moderate but can rise to high during athletic competitions.
- Drive as needed for job duties.
