Seasonal Associate Ticket Sales/Customer Service Jobs in Allentown at Lehigh Valley IronPigs
Job Summary
- Assist our Season Membership and Group Sales departments in all operations related directly to the Ticket Office in providing a first-class experience while visiting Coca-Cola Park. This position is a full time internship working 40 hours per week.
Essential Functions
- Sell season and partial ticket memberships as well as group tickets and hospitality areas
- Work all ticket windows during the business day, game nights, and weekends
- Prepare finalized ticket memberships and group packages for clients
- Provide outstanding customer service to all IronPigs guests and employees
- Attend weekly staff and sales meetings providing insightful feedback
- Answer incoming calls, direct calls, and answer any ticket questions
- Coordinate special group nights
- Keep track of daily monetary deposits and reconcile at the end of each day
- Maintain computerized records of all ticket and group package customers as well as prospects
Other Duties/ Responsibilities
- Assist on tarp pulls
- Reception desk phone coverage when needed
- Work certain amount of non-game day weekend coverage for the Ticket Office
- Participate or coordinate occasional special events at Coca-Cola Park
- Other duties as assigned
Experience Required
- Strong desire to work in professional baseball
- Ability to work in a team environment is a must as duties may stretch beyond work in the ticket sales department
- Ability to call and meet with numerous types of business and organizations
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college/university or obtained a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in sports related industry preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to multitask and handle time sensitive deadlines

Compensation
- $10 per hour – no housing provided
- 40 hour work week – will include weekends and games
- 95% of IronPigs Full-Time Sales Managers start with the team in this role
