ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an energetic, seasonal Assistant Swim Coach to join our swimming and diving team staff.
This position runs from June 15th to August 7th.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Assistant Swim Coach will work with and report to the Head Coach of Westchester Country Club’s swim and dive team. They will be responsible for all aspects of instruction, coaching, promotion and safety within traditional age group standards (6-17 years old).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* The Assistant Swim Coach should have prior instructional and coaching experience on the club, high school and collegiate level
* Extensive swimming technique knowledge and strong leadership qualities
* Valid CPR and First Aid certifications required
* Lifeguard training and/or water safety instructor certifications are recommended
* Ensure a safe learning environment throughout lessons for all Members and guests
* Communicate and enforce pool rules and policies
* Must maintain a friendly and encouraging attitude both during and outside of lessons
* Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members and guests
* Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
* Must present professional appearance and attitude at all times, maintaining a high level of member service
* Must adhere to all WCC guidelines, policies and procedures
* Working primarily in and around the Beach Club pool and all related designated Aquatics areas
PAY RANGE
$20.00 – $23.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience
